ISPOR Russia HTA Chapter traditional Meeting is scheduled in Milan, Italy, November 9th, 2015, 16.30. Current and future perspectives of healthcare reform in the Russian Federation will be discussed during the Meeting. Health technology assessment: ways of development in Russia": Moscow, November 2nd, 2015

Nowadays health technology assessment (HTA), clinical and economical expertise are getting more support worldwide and in Russia, in particular. The amendments to the Federal law on medicines of the Russian Federation dated April 12th, 2012, including introducement of the term of "comprehensive HTA", came into effect July 1st, 2015. In order to comply with these amendments every medicine will have to go through the process of evaluation to be included in a restrictive lists and receive a governmental funding. National Agency under the authority of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation will be created in 2015 and will be responsible for HTA in the country.
Considering the importance of these changes in context of perspectives of HTA system development the 2nd International scientific and practical Conference "Health technology assessment: ways of development in Russia" will be organized in Moscow, November 2nd, 2015.
The Conference is supported by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, the Council of the Federation Committee on Social Policy of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research and other partners.
The main topics of the Conference are international experience of developing HTA system and methodological aspects of HTA. Valuable experts in the field of HTA from Europe, BRICS and CIS countries are invited.
One-day program of the Conference includes the Plenary Session and several thematic sessions such as:
- Funding of healthcare in the Russian Federation;
- Development of HTA system in the Russian Federation;
- Innovative drugs, approaches on funding;
- Drug provision regulation perspectives in the Russian Federation;
- Scientific advice and early health technology assessment.
As a result of the Conference - suggestions, informational platform and task force will be created to harmonize approaches of further HTA system development.
